You should build balconies around the inside of the pyramid so you can look down throungh the middle and have chests along the walls.

You could also place glass on the bottom of the map, so you could see it in the tunnels as well. (i post this comment not having fully watched the video because i otherwise forget. If you have done this, just ignore this comment)

You could also try putting the portals where you originally planned to have your storage room. A few blocks above the map :D

no put the iron bars in front of the lava, so you have lava but behind the iron bars, and you cant run on it

in the nether tunnels you can use colered wool and give every portal a color so you can easily navigate thourgh the tunnels. you can put it on the floor or something. great episode once again!
