The nether wart wasn’t being destroyed by the dispensers it was just because if you destroy the first stage of it you only have a chance of getting the one nether wart back.

Use tripwires/pressure plates instead of buttons in the nether wart farm and put fences around the edges of your reed farm so you dont fall off when your harvesting :)

Okay :) But when the sky looked like it was raining and it dident rain was because you were in a desert biome and it doesnt rain in desert biomes.
