Didn’t you decide a while back that putting a trapdoor above the pressure plate can increase the efficiency ever so slightly? Love this design! so simple!

Holy crap! Not TOO resource intensive?! It barely requires any resources!

isn’t it also possible to use a minecart and railway tracks instead of walking?

This dosn’t work
September 1st, 2012 at 9:01 AM
yes, but you go to fast. you would have to use furnace minecarts sandwiching the one your riding in.

Xisuma, you can also slightly alter this design to work with cocoa beans, if you are so inclined. What I did was put a block over the rd torch near the pad where the piston should go, allowing the jungle logs to be at face level. On the other end I raised the entire contraption up one block to be in line with the jungle logs. The where the tilled soil is, I placed blocks to put a gap between the player and the logs. Great tutorial man!

Thanks so much Xisuma! I appreciate you putting so much work into these tutorials. was just wondering, is this faster than your wheat farm “V2″? thanks again! :D

Hey xisuma,
First good vid. Second I made a design almost as exact but the pressure plate is diagonal from the right piston. This makes it faster and smaller. If you would like to see you pm me. HOPE THIS HELPS!!!
