Just as a note Xisuma, plastic bars are only used for Advanced Circuits
(the red chips). You don’t need to carry those through the base on a line,
they won’t be used again.
You also made mention of the splitters prioritizing the outside of the iron
lines (12:40). It’s not so much the splitters doing that, but the way the
belts work. If you see the splitter you have for the iron just ‘north’ of
the electronic circuit machines, the iron will be swept onto the belt from
the splitter from the back slot first (the farthest upstream on the belt).
This iron is from the outer side of the belt, and so that side is being
used more often.
Further down the line, at your advanced circuit production (17:30), be
aware that the inserters will prioritize taking items from the far side of
the belt. The fast inserters will try to take the electronic circuits from
the far side of the belt (the side closest to the center), and will produce
a similar kind of effect, that side of the belt will be used more often and
will skew the usage of the belt the whole way back.
These aren’t really problems, as long as your production can keep up
there’s nothing wrong, but if you’re interested in why things are
happening, just wanted you to know. I also recall you saying in a
Hermitcraft video that you had most of these recorded already, so I don’t
know if this information will get to you in time to be useful. Good luck,
loving it so far <3

Feedback incoming…
1. The track of the batteries that go to the blue potions could be join lot
before. = More neatly + Save some tracks!
2. You miss to upgrade one of the assemblers to level 3 (On the Advance
Circuits). = Faster?
3. Nice video. :) =You did it good.
Not make any sense what i say? I’m not English… Spanish. + I don’t
understand very well Factorio only like watching it alot.

you are so awesome you can’t make bad videos

That was an awesome episode. I wish the tech tree was much more longer so
the series wouldnt end ;_;

Watching the factory run looks pretty epic to watch.

Is the aim of the game to wipe out the aliens?

Really enjoying this lets play :)

How do you know so much about this game?

You got a pretty amazing factory right there, sir. Also, love this series,
I was pretty skeptical at first, but now it seems that you really did a
good job on making an efficient factory, not to mention that it also looks
neat.
Also, I would like to mention, that you should do an overkill on basic
materials, like copper wire, and the green circuits. As you saw it, the
problem is, that whatever you are making, the futher down the line it is,
the less material it will have to build from. (if that makes any sense),
but I am sure you will come up with something amazing!

you have to start automaticly making efficiency modules that you can feed
everything in your factory so they use at least 60% less power. if you hold
the efficiency moduels, hold Crtl and left click you will automaticly give
the machine the amount of efficiancy moduels it needs

Are you taking a break from hermicraft? :)

Why don’t you use combat shotgun?

Some stuff I use which I can highly suggest to you are:
-Use the Express Belts, they speed up your whole “Throttled” system!
-If it still isnt fast enough, use “shortscuts” to transport the desired
item directly to it (as you mentioned, what you might gonna do with
copper-cables)
-As a green cicuit uses 3 Cables per 1/2 second, and only 2 are produced
per 1/2 second, you need at least 1.5times the amount of cable factory than
green circuits, but they also get used for the red ones, so I suggest, to
ry to make at least twice the cables!
And as you asked, whether we enjoy to hear you rambling, I have to say that
I kinda like it, since I play the game somehow different, and I still
continue to learn stuff, since you focus much on planning how something
works good and stuff.
Im waiting for the next episode!
Sincerly

I’m not sure if your problem is the conveyor speed or the copper cable
production speed, X… I believe it’s the latter. The conveyor belts
usually need an upgrade when items cannot be placed onto them from an
assembly line due to the belt not being able to take items out of that
assembly line fast enough. I have no idea how to explain this any better =P

good stuff man! keep em rollin in! lovin the series!
January 3rd, 2015 at 8:33 AM
I not speaking ur language when you are explaining! :D

Upgrading your efficiency modules to the max is a must. You would not
believe how much power all of your drills, furnaces and such use up.
They are the most useful. I used to only jsut get by with 3.5 GW of stored
power before but now, 0.7 is more than enough.

This. Was. Mindblowing! What an absolutely amazing episode! This is close
to the perfect Factorio episode. It had everything! I love the way your new
design works. It’s easy to tell you’ve put a ton of time and effort into
all the little details and it really takes things one step further. You
showed all the little problems that the system has with the chips not
getting produced or even moved along fast enough, with ways on how to fix
it. I can not wait until the next episode! Things are going to be great!
Thanks so much for making these videos X, they are definitely the highlight
to my days.
P.S, I now understand why you turned base spawnrate to high. I’m struggling
to find enough bases to make the purple potions. I tried to make a
mobile-base destroying setup with defender robots and missile launchers,
but it isn’t anywhere near as effective as laser turrets.

You forgot to show your technique for taking down the baddies :(
