dont know if you know or not, but 2 very useful tips.
1: using control will save you lots of time with resource movement. it
allows you to not open a inventories menu to exchange items. by pressing
control with coal on your cursor, you can automatically place all the coal
you have on your cursor, or half the coal you have on your cursour into any
inventory that will accept coal using the left or right mouse clicks. ctrl
clicking on an inventoy that contains only one item will get you at least
one stack of that item from that inventory, such as the steel in a furnace.
2: when placing power lines, if you hold the mouse click and walk, it will
auto place them as far away as possible from the last placed one. just
place one, then either dont let go of the mouse click, or click and hold on
a place that can not be placed, then walk. note there may be a bug with
this that will very rarely cause you to crash if you move the placement too
far away from yourself causing it to try and place a power line too far
away from yourself.

Hey X, guess what happened? My headset died, yet again! Except this time,
the charger cord is not working! I will try to watch the video. Hopefully
we can get a new charger cord? :D

I don’t know why but i like watching you play factorio then playing it
myself.

Xisuma, near the end you were talking about making a “supply area” to pick
up all the stuff you use. (you were talking about the electric poles for
example) You don’t really need this, when you get into robotics you can
just have them put in a chest where they’re made and then set robots to
bring you some if you have under a certain amount in your inventory :D

Looking forward to the next episode! I love this series.

Nice one again X! My tip for the science-stuff: Build buffers! Just so that
you have like 800 Potions each on storage, so you can research without
problems, because a production equal to the consumtion needs to be really
big!
And btw: Happy new year :)

I need water! Dying of first here.

its better to do the advance oil processing because it gives you more
overall gas as well as giving you more petroleum gas which is the one you
want. you can store the heavy oil for making lubricant but your not going
to need a lot of it and then convert the light oil to petroleum because
petroleum is the only real useful gas

Happy new year x!!! Looking forward to a great year of videos

doing this for hours :D

Also, Accumulator capacity only changes when you change the number of
accumulators you have online.
It’s merely a capacity not a consumption/production thing…
:D

Hi X, I don’t know if you know this, but the production bar (under power)
means how much power your power source is making, and available power is
how much it can make. Hope this helps!

X use solar panels for energy

I highly suggest having 25 Science Labs, as they will waste no science
packs when you do researches that cost 150, 250, … packs. Also, the labs
always keep 2 of every pack in them, so they all will always kick off at
the same time and never waste anything.

Welcome to 2015, how tough are ya?
January 2nd, 2015 at 8:37 AM
Hey Xisuma, will you make your world avaliable for download? I think you
should do that every 5 or 10 episodes, just to make everything easier to
follow.

Dude, that “odd or even” number of research facilities is a really valuable
tip there! Am I the only one who’s surprised at that?
