Why do you disable comments when you launch vids and then enable them. Its
bugging my mind because i dont understand and i cant find a way why its
usefull eccept for the “first” comments.

You seem to have accidentally removed the oil input into your left refinery.
Also, the heavy and medium oil can be made into stuff that you can burn in
furnaces that gives more energy than coal, but you may need to do more
research for that. It’s the black cube recipe.
You will definitely need more steam engines and accumulators to run a big
laser defense.

So Xisuma, did you follow up on the whole Yogscast situation? I’d sort of
like to know your opinion on the whole thing if you wouldn’t mind :-)
Also, You sould really gather up a lot of iron and copper plates and some
battries and produce as many acumulators as you can then go AFK. I’ve got
about 70 and they work wonders.

Wouldnt it be great if Xisuma, Mumbo and false and maybe even Cleo made a
series called Brittish Buddies??? I can picture X doing farms, Mumbo doing
some redstone stuff, False building with Cleo……. Ahhh a perfect
series..

I’m sorry xisuma but I can’t watch this series. I don’t know why I just
can’t get into it. It seems like an interesting game and usually watching
someone I like play a new game I haven’t heard of, I’ll want to get that
game. I think a problem is that I can only watch on a mobile device and
with the smaller screen it’s harder to see what’s going on so I don’t know
what to say really I just felt like sharing this with you but I hope you
have fun recording this as it seems like other people enjoy watching it.

Thank you Xisuma for introducing me to this game XD
Also, now that you have laser turrets, you should use those to go attack
the nearby enemy bases. Just branch out with power poles (I prefer the
medium ones) and place turrets in double lines on the edges of power facing
the enemy base. As you get closer, the turrets will autoattack the spawners
and destroy them. It’s much easier than trying to shotgun your way through
a base :D

Be wary on splitters, they can only work at a certain speed. So as your
productiun goes up they can become a bottleneck even with the more advanced
splitters.
Also you should be carefull about automating everything, every factory
produces polution and thus attracs mobs from further away. Stuff that fast
to produce (pipes) and you do not use a huge quantity off its better to
craft them by hand. Having a factory that you fill up yourself is an option
as well. Quite often you do not need enough of certain things to bother
creating an automated system.

Stop with the mid-scroll ads please :l

Xisuma now that you have enabled your mouse on video it would be nice if
you’d play in full screen to reduce the size of it

I think you disconnected one of the input pipes at the left refinery

Hey Xisuma! Been watching and loving this series, glad you finally got some
feedback! It really helps to see every extra detail with alt.
Let me just say, when you turned it on, I actually ‘wow…’d outloud. Your
pollution cloud is HUGE! The whole minimap is red! I have no clue what is
causing that, but it’s no wonder why you’re aggroing every alien camp
nearby!
Also, I wonder why your turrets are taking damage, despite being behind
walls. I think you should be fine to actually move them back a few spaces.
They have HUGE range. That might keep them safer.
And finally, from what I understand, the AI works by drawing a line from
their base to the nearest or biggest pollution factor (electric miners,
boilers, etc.) and trying to get to it. If it finds that the path is
blocked (by walls, for example) it will attack the wall. However, if a
turret fires at it, it will then aggro the turret instead. You can abuse
this by ‘mazing’ the aliens through walls, giving the turrets more time to
attack. Also, the aliens are affected by the conveyer belts. That will give
you even more time to shoot them down before they start to attack.
It seems like defense is the only thing that’s pressing right now, so I
hope those tips help! Keep it up!

9:35 Recording on camera? Isn’t that what you are supposed to do?

Maybe you had your mouse on the track that was facing the wrong way when
you pressed alt

I see your 3×3 storage tank setups have little squiggly 2 pipe things
“connecting the tanks together”. You don’t need those, although it doesn’t
look like it tanks connect to pipes, other tanks etc. on sides too. Try
laying a square of pipes all around a tank, you’ll see the spots.
