Hey Etho, I can (obviously) only speak for myself, but I’m loving the
content you’re putting out and think that the amount of videos you’re
posting is more than fine! Grinding out items doesn’t make for great
content, and neither does doing the same thing 400 times :) Take care and
don’t burn yourself out trying to put out more videos.

Etho I have any idea for how to overcome your quantity dilemma. Take
YouTubers like yourself, who make less, higher-quality videos. Your
episodes are very polished and professional. Now look at YouTubers like
Generikb. He makes give or take 5 episodes per day. What makes you two so
different? All of your YouTube episodes contain little bits of Etho-ness in
them. Imagine it like this: if you record yourself for a whole 12 hours
while doing what your doing, it’s like creating a huge slab of quartz. When
you go and get edit it, you think your chiseling it out and making a
beautiful piece of art. You condense 12 hours of work into 30 minutes.
Furthermore, it builds you up to be a super-hero type figure. You have all
this amazing stuff, and we only see the 2% cream of the milk. That huge
slab of Etho-marble is so much easier to relate to as a viewer. Going back
to my original point, if you make a video out of your essence, the purpose
is to give the viewers something that lets them into your life, but then by
editing your raw marble slab, your cutting us out of the loop. We, and if
not then at least I, want to be a part of the episode. We want to share in
your hardships so that we can also have the joy of your fruits of labor.
Long story short, wether it is intended or not, you portray the Ethos in
EthosLab to much! (Ethos being the Greek word for professional). By making
your videos more professional, and ‘perfect’, your really just taking away
from them. Your substituting feeling and emotion with reason and fact. Show
the viewers that your a person too, not just some product that we can go
and use.
Now that I’m done criticizing you, great job Etho!

You could do mini games on servers. It may cause problems, so I don’t know
if it’s the wisest move, but I would surely enjoy it!

Personally I prefer you spending more time per episode. It makes them more
jam packed and less monotonous. I know this may mean less views, but it
makes your channel and your videos special. Not many minecraft youtubers
spend 12-20hrs on a single let’s play episode and I admire you doing it,
which is why I never missed an episode since episode 200.

Ok, listen up. You do too much. You spend 12 HOURS on an episode and still
manage to release 4 each week. I am impressed. Spending more time on an
episode makes it more exciting rather than “idk what to do in this episode
so im just gonna farm stuff for half an hour cause i have to get an episode
today”. The only thing I care about is keeping it flowing nicely, which
means no more than 5 series’s at once. So you can do this one, modded mc,
fly boys, hermitcraft AND a custom map all at the same time. Keep up the
great work! :D

Etho, about the episodes… we don’t really care about how much you get
done in an episode, we just like your personality and we *miss* it when you
upload less. If you make shorter, but more or less daily video it will
satisfy the *Etho craving syndrome* we have. Starting another game would be
cool way to do that, maybe even you could play maps with
GOB(Guude,OMGchad,Beef). I really enjoy your personality, and it’s even
better when you have more amazing personalities like you in one video.
You are awesome, keep it up! :D
