I’ve been considering digging this game back out myself since I’ve been watching this series. Even though about making a video series on it too…but probably don’t really need to since you already have :D

It feels really weird being able to press 720p on this video xD

Sometimes the BFG is the right weapon to use, especially when they give it to you again.

Spirit World is just about my favorite Doom II level. Lots of naughty secrets and tough enemies on it. I especially love making the two Spider Masterminds fight each other on Ultra Violence.

The daemons you kept calling Barons of Hell were actually Legionarre Daemons. They use the same model, but Barons are bright red and legions are grey. That’s why you were able to take it down so easily with the shotgun. :-) This game is really nostalgic for me! Keep it up! I love watching you play it!

The cap only happens when a video gets more than 300 views in a short amount of time. It won’t stop the counter if it’s just going up a few at a time.

Got on before the 304 view cap XD

No, actually.. the counter freezes around 300 views if they are coming in too quickly, so the information gets sent to youtube for confirmation so that they can check whether the views are legitimate. They also start filtering away the “views” of people who just clicked the video and watched a couple of seconds.
On a video like this it’s not gonna freeze (unfortunately, more people should really watch this series).

The wall with the scratches is a door that can be opened shooting at it (or is it a switch? can’t remember). When you find yourself trapped somewhere in Doom you always have a way out unless you fall in some pit where you are supposed to die. Unless you somehow reach a place where you are not supposed to be yet (glitchs, cheats…) you can’t get stuck.

Hey there. I don’t know if you have noticed but there is a piece of wall with some scratches on that inner wall of the room you haven’t tried shooting / activating. It looks distinctively different from the other parts. It’s been a while since I played doom2 myself but I think that was the way to go. Awesome playtrough so far :3 I love the commentary.

Also when you are invulnerable point blank rockets are a decent strategy, especially since you dont seem to use rockets much, save your plasma ammo.
