GABEN DEMANDS A LETS PLAY
March 11th, 2015 at 8:58 AM
Grabbed this one this evening and I have to say, for 3 bucks its pretty
entertaining! That being said after 5 hours I think I’m at an impass, but
like most games of this genre I am more than likely not digging in the
right spot.
I don’t see this adapting well to a “lets Play” though. There’s just too
much going on and to narrate whats happening just seems futile. That’s
just my opinion though, if Paul can pull a LP out of this, then by all
means go for it man! Lord knows I’ll watch it.
It definitely has a few bugs in it, nothing too game breaking just odd. It
will occasionally tell you game over when it isn’t, but that doesn’t seem
to do anything negative at all.
Enemies falling on you from great heights can be problematic…the higher
level dog-like creatures especially seem to one shot you if they come at
you all ballistic.
Other than that though its fun. I mean, its limited in the way that
Minecraft gets limited after a while. You dig, you find stuff, you make
things…eventually you run out of things to make. But then you can
explore. And it doesnt suffer from the BS mechanics that Minecraft does.
Ie: You arent going to die from a cave in, theres no surprise lava and
you don’t have to worry about durability loss or bag space.
At least if theres a bag limit I havent hit it yet and thats with over 3000
stone in there.

I love that there are so many early access games coming out, and I love
YouTubers like Paul who share these videos. It brings attention to games
that I wouldn’t normally have found. I find it so fun! I love helping
developers get the money to continue their work and help them find bugs.
Keep up with the early access games, Paul! You rock!
