Paul, since you enjoy DnD stuff, and seem to like strategy games, I highly
recommend the Baldur’s Gate series. You can get both of them, and all of
the expansions for them on steam for around $45 (they go on sale often, and
can both be gotten for as low as $15 for both during summer and winter
sales), and they are both amazing games. Please, if you haven’t already, at
least try them out. Helgraf Frosthammer would fit in perfectly on it.

If you read the scroll of greater health, does it give you an extra health
point maybe? Or perhaps a temporary health boost?

That’s, interesting. I had to do a research paper on the Apple 2 last year
for computer technology. I don’t think your video game dream could be
developed on that!

Paul your channel might be big enough for you to live off the money you do
or would make off of the partner ship program

Man, I just had the most soul crushing experience with this game.
Downloaded it on my phone about a week ago, and made it to the final floor
today. During the run back to the start, I ran out of healing items on
floor 2. However, I was just 20 exp from a level up, so I could be restored
to my max 60 hp if I killed just one monster. A mage comes up behind me,
and I draw back my wand..but it has no charges. I try to switch to my
melee, but in the mobile version, there’s a glitch where your camera will
flip out, and you’ll end up all turned around if you try to switch weapons
while having one drawn back. So, he’s taking pot shots at me while I’m
trying to get myself orientated again. I lose about 10 of the 20 health I
have during that time, and after I relocate him, I get two hits on him with
my sword. But before I could do a third swing, he killed me. It irritates
me to no end knowing that, if it wasn’t for that glitch, I could have
gotten that last swing off to finish him, been resorted to full health, and
probably have beaten the game on my first attempt, since I was just two
floors away from getting out…
Even still though, what a fantastic game. It really puts you in the role of
a dungeon crawling rouge. Peeking around corners for enemies, observing and
evaluating your surrounds to determine the best way to defeat the monsters.
I was surprisingly impressed by it! Really glad you made these videos on
it, so I knew to give it a try. Despite my grief ;_;

I just bought this game and It’s really hard. I’ve already died once. It’s
really hard to get into because of the horrible control scheme.

You should do a vlog series about your gaming history ;]
The first time I played games was on super nintendo, I also thought it was
the most amazing thing ever. Couldn’t stop thinking about it no matter
where I was, I blame my poor performance in school on that.
As cheesey (and sad) as it may sound, discovering video games may have been
one of the most exciting times in my life.
