I dont understand why the devs would make it that the residents in the
vicinity of the crematorium become happy when its placed. I know I wouldn’t
want a cremation center next to my house.

It seems that the motorway around the commercial district isn’t used that
much. However, I think it could be the solution for the traffic problems
somehow. You should come with something brilliant anyway ;-)

Maybe, instead of building a new ecosystem, just build a metro and a social
train station, and have no roards leading to that industrial, then it’ll be
isolated from everything else, but you’ll still be able to have workers

When Xisuma mentioned Athlecity, I got to thinking.
Why doesn’t he create an area and name it “Dencity”?

Hey! I think it’s very difficult to force the way the goods/materials go.
Same thing with were the workers will go to work. I doubt especially if the
game is so smart that the industry notices that there is a posibility that
the goods can go by truck then train then truck. So the trucks still drive
on the highway. The reason for that assumption is that you can’t set up
cargo train lines with stops like the person train lines have. The cargo
trains just drive randomly around. Maybe they are just für import/export
like the harbor and not for carrying goods inside a city.
However – You can try to get it to work – I would really love to see the
solution. I myself gave up on trying to get this idea to work a while ago.
(tried something very similar) Instead of that it seems to be more
effective to increase the throughput of the roads on which the traffic
wants to go and ban it from areas which don’t have the capacity.
About the banning of the traffic. It seems to work. However: It seems to
work only properly if the alternative is “free to go”. So if the highway,
you want to force the traffic on, is jammed like hell, the people seem to
say “what the heck, I don’t give a shit” and start the drive through the
banned area.
And as always: This is what I noticed – It does not have to be correct :)
Keep on the good gameplay – It’s a pleasure to watch this!
