Arma 2 costs money. Nothing we can do about that. However it will probably go on the Steam sale and be around the $10-$15 range or less.

Arma II is on sale on steam RIGHT NOW for $4.41 / €3.39 / £2.71
You can play Arma but note if you want to play dayz you will also need to get the add on Operation Arrowhead.
