I think that potato was a random zombie drop. I once got iron by killing a

*Etho* – love the series man. Keep it going!
*Suggestion: Making a bed should be the next project!*
1) In crafting menu – place a stick with a piece of clay on top to get a
clay spindle.
2) Put the clay spindle in a pit kiln to get a spindle head
3) Add another stick to the head for regular spindle
4) Take raw sheepskin hide and a knife to get wool.
5) Use both wool and spindle to get wool yarn.
6) 4 pieces of wool yarn in a square pattern to make wool cloth
7) In crafting menu – place 3 wooden planks across bottom and 3 wool cloth
on top of that!
8) Have yourself a good night’s rest – must be tough out there in
TerraFirmaCraft Land
*Wool cloth can alternatively be used to make carpet and paintings. Wool
yarn can alternatively be used instead of string; for bows and fishing
rods!*
