Xisuma, thanks for going to the trouble of acquiring Docs footage so that we could watch something while listening to the meeting, and a huge thanks to Doc for sending you the footage to use. After all you could have just put up a video telling us you had a recording problem and to just go watch the others. Well done for not taking the easy way out mate. And thanks for all the effort you put in to making entertainment for us :)

I doubt it was even a case of forgetting, more likely a typo. Mind you his complaint is uncalled for, after all it’s not like he is paying Xisuma for this entertainment. Perhaps he should think about that first.

If you get enough oil to get to the refinery you can import the oil and refine it after your city runs out of it’s local supply and still make quite a tidy profit just from refining. In fact in most plots this is the only way to go as you will use the local oil up to get the petroleum upgrades.

Sorry but mining really sucks in SimCity! I started an oil-city (with max-oil) but the oil ran out after just a few hours of gameplay. So you kick-start the oil-industry to get “big numbers” and be able to build the enhanced specialization-buildings but in the end the oil is empty just after you finished building these things. And there’s no difference to coal, it’s just a short-time-income and “experience” in my opinion because the ores run out really really fast. :(
