Slime Farm Shutoff – Minecraft LP #89
My slime pads were spawning slimes and interfering with my mob rates when I was trying to get carrots and potatoes from zombies in my XP farm. So today I’ll build a shutoff switch for the slime pad, using dispensers this time. Enjoy! Just a suggestion. Button connected to t-flip flop with pistons and normal signal to dispensers. I think it will work. Like so he can see.

Slimes spawn on/with torches and without them. Those green things don’t give a crap. :P

Monkey, you don’t need to change around the setup – you can use a button at the very top and have it go into a T-Flip-Flop for the first slime pad, so that it acts like a lever anyway (I reckon this would be the easiest solution.) Or you could use a pulse-limiter on the second-slime pad so you can still have a lever, but it only gives out a pulse. You’re pretty good with redstone, it should be alright :).

or he could do just a pulse limiter so it just sends out a pulse each time

i have the same texture pack. i agree that the standar texture pack is awful, but i was talking about the set ups, the order, the efficiency and the general look :a big circle with a garden inside, a spawner in the middle, a death bowl and much more, i like the base as a whole. my base is a freaking mess…
