Damn Paul I was about to write a well thought comment but this video and
the ending almost made me cry… First of all I would like to say that this
video has brought back the ”flame” I had back in 2011 when I started
watching your videos (completely by chance) and then started playing
Minecraft. Here is my opinion. I believe that it’s not the game itself that
makes your videos special. What makes them special is the life you give in
each and every game you play through your happiness and your enthusiasm and
the passion you have to share and teach and give to the people! So for me
even though I started watching you for Minecraft, now I watch each and
every video you make no matter the game you play because it is just you!
For example I LOVED the lets play skyrim series you started the immersion
and the role play was amazing. This shows me the potential you have that u
can be very good at playing other games too and make your soarvivors happy
too! To tell the truth I expected a happy video for 1 mil subs video but in
the end I think I prefer you have choosen to be real to us and not just
pretend to be happy. I think this is what makes you have this unique bond
with us soarvivors that you are authentic. With all my heart I wish you to
be trully happy, I THANK you for all the moments you have gifted to us, I
hope your family is happy and healthy and I am sure you will do just fine
in the future! Ahhh the nostalgia… Back in 2011 I was feeling so lonely I
had just gone to university away from family and friends and my sole
companion was your voice and your amazing survive and thrive series! Thank
you Paul. Thank you. :’)

What happened to the ESO series? I really didn’t like the game, but I’d
love to see you playing that.

I have never had a reason to regret subscribing. This is probably the only
gaming Youtube channel (besides the ones that my friends run) that I always
enjoy seeing a new video from in my sub box.
Whether it’s more Minecraft, or an awesome new indie game to check out,
keep on doing what you do best.

Congratulations Paul! You helped me so much when you started Survive and
Thrive! In fact, you are the first Minecraft YouTuber I started watching!
Congratz again Paul!

I have been watching your videos since you had 20 videos or so. I used to
watch your first tutorial series and soon after got Minecraft alpha myself.
I have loved many of your minecraft series but I don’t watch your videos
for Minecraft, I watch them for you. I loved your escapist series (even
though I started watching a little late) and although I was pretty busy
when you were making Skyrim content I enjoyed what I watched. Looking
forward to future episodes in your second season of escapists and any
future games you decide to make videos about.

I feel badly, knowing that you didn’t really want to play Minecraft… by
all means, I enjoy your other Let’s Plays… and Yes, Minecraft got boring
for me, about a year ago… but I still enjoy watching you play Paul.. Just
know that I will enjoy your videos.. or at least watch the game, to see if
I like it… I’m not sure if you will read this though.. but it is the
thought that counts!

Didnt you add the sandstone because spiders couldnt climb it or so? And the
pigs look so derpy because they dont have snouts…
I think I subbed around your 8th episode, you were the first subscription,
or friend if you will ;), on youtube for me. I still spend hours every day
watching vids on youtube, but you were where it all started. Thank you for
laying an amazing foundation to my youtube hobby I guess :D
Nostalgia meter has risen a lot over the course of this video :p

I realize that minecraft has lost a lot of popularity over the years, and
although I still love it, I’ve come to enjoy you playing other games more.
Just my two cents, but paul, I would never unsubscribe to you, even if you
quit minecraft altogether.( but don’t :P)
