Mindcrack Ultra Hardcore – S8E03: Tech Up
Welcome to Season 8 of the Ultra Hardcore series. Season 8 has 15 participants in a Free For All, every man for himself, style of game play. The map is randomly generated with a bedrock border around its 1600×1600 perimeter. The goal is to kill or outlive all the other players. The only way to recover health in this is with golden apples or instant health potions. Golden apples require a 8 gold ingots (instead of nuggets) and an apple to craft. Glistering Melons require 1 gold block (instead of 1 nugget) and a melon. Health does not recover from keeping your hunger bar full. Etho MindCrack SMP – Episode 40: Fun With Ice
MindCrack is a server Guude started in late 2010. It is a private (whitelisted) server. We are currently not accepting applications. Today we set up an Ice Tray farm, work on a nether tunnel, and try to launch nebris with a cannon.

Minecraft – Tutorial: Practical Mob System
This tutorial teaches you how to build my practical hostile mob system. Pros: Compact, Easy, Quick, & Cheap to build. Doesn’t cause block updates that would cause lag to your game. Works well in SMP. Cons: Lower efficiency. Mobs are not forced off spawning pads so they may get stuck. Mobs will not spawn within 24 blocks of your player. Mobs will despawn if over 32 blocks from your player. Mobs will go into sleep mode if over 32 blocks from your player. Mobs will almost instantly despawn if over 128 blocks from your player. Mobs can spawn in any loaded chunk in light levels 7 or less. Mobs are more likely to spawn in dark areas as they approach light level 0.
