Minecraft – Hardcore Flatlands Survival – Episode 1

In this new series we are tackling hardcore mode but with a twist. The world is flat so resources are VERY scarce. Plus in hardcore mode if you die you are out of the game. I have also set an invisible circular boundary around the spawn point of 1000 blocks. So there is a limited amount of space also! Who will be the last person standing? Stay tuned. PAX Minecraft Adventure Update 1.8 Preview

Check out the new Adventure Update. Notch revealed part of the new 1.8 Adventure update for Minecraft that will be released in the next couple weeks. This update includes MANY new aspects. Some of the features are: a hunger bar, skill points (to be determined what they will do), new food items, a new mob (Enderman) and a choice between entering creative or survival mode. In creative mode, you do not need to mine anything and will have access to all materials and also the ability to fly.

Minecraft Adventure Update 1.8 has been released!!!!

Today the Minecraft 1.8 Update has finally been released. The new features of this update include: + Added a brand new biome generation code that simplifies life a lot and makes things much more exciting for the future + Added new mob; Endermen + Added FOV slider + Added brightness slider + Added randomly generated ravines + Killing a monster makes it drop experience orbs + The player can level up by gathering experience orbs + Added randomly generated houses + Added huge mushrooms + Using bonemeal on small mushrooms grows the mushroom into a giant mushroom if there’s room + Rewrote the light rendering to use multi-texturing instead of direct colors + Sky light and block light have different tints, cool colors for sky light, warm for block lights + Added critical hits that deal +50% damage, plus an extra point to make crits with weak weapons worth it + If the player hits a mob while falling, they always hit a critical hit + The game now keeps track of damage sources and types + Some damage type ignore armor now; drowning, being on fire (but not being IN a fire), falling out of the world + Ice now only spreads next to existing ice or from coast areas + Made the explosions prettier + Made level height depend on a single variable (the level height still is 128, but it’s more moddable now) + Added sprinting + Added hunger + Food is now stackable + Improved the logo + Added suspended particles to water + Added a server list so you can remember multiple servers + The player …

[MinecraftChick VS The Enderman]

Today on my Misadventures in Minecraft, I decided to search for the elusive 1.8 Adventure Update Enderman. Before I could even start looking for an enderman, I ran across sounds from a zombie spawner. After crafting tools and torches, I found the zombie spawner and it had an enderman inside of it. I killed the Enderman with my sword and found a saddle in the chest inside the spawner. It was an eventful episode back. Minecraft – The Escape – Part 1

In this new series the Crew has been teleported by some unknown force down into a cave deep at bedrock. Their only goals are to survive and reach the surface. They are playing on hard difficulty, if you die, you are out of the game. Who from the Crew will make it out alive? Stay tuned.
