Hey Paul, I’m pretty sure Lydia will use healing potions if you give them to her. But if not, if i remember correctly, you can purchase a HEALING HANDS spell from the mage in Dragonsreach to heal your follower. I hope this helps you on your quest? Gamers of our generation should stick together.. Ha Ha.

There is no rush! I’ve completed the main quest aspect of this game soooo long ago,i’m still playing it, taking my time, enjoying side quests, levelling up skills etc. :3

Hi Paul, I really like your series, minecraft and skyrim,
including all the sidetracks you do.

Paul if you put object on the floor and tell your companion to pick them up instead of giving it to them they have unlimited carry weight
