Near the end of the episode Marc ate a fine meal that was laying by the
stove. This is because you had no more storage room for fine meals. He now
makes an infinite amount of meals, because you told him to keep 12 in
storage, and there’s only 10 (those not in storage do not count). Make sure
you accept fine meals in the right/green part of your freezer if you don’t
want your kitchen full of meals.

Shipbuilding, but install the new cooler and put in the floor in the
freezer! Sometimes I wonder about you. :P

Also by the way Psj stones and basically ANYTHING can be used as cover. So
your little area to slow them down in the hallway. Will work against you at
the same time xD. Also aren’t you in a winter area? Cuz i thing its coming
up on winter season. A.K.A no more food! :P
Also btw you have to reconnect your new turret. Its not connected xD

Electric smelting or machining. Either way they help you in the long run.

Paul Mark was testing the happy meal! He was checking if they were the best
of his prejudice

Hey Paul! I kinda had a recommendation for a game for you to play, if
you’re interested. If you played Prison Architect I think you and a-lot of
people would like it. (I would be one of those people, clearly.) It’s sort
of like being on the other side of The Escapists. Anyway, great video as
always!

You called quits like three times! And love this series

Shipbuilding sounds interesting!

The temperature outside that game is FREEZING! I live in a pretty warm
place and to me, that’s freezing,

The best for food is to make a room as big as the radius of the sun lamp.
Put fertilizer in the room ground become soil and its done

My suggestion for research is Hydroponics, so you’ll be able to grow things
all year round. =3
Amazing video, as always. ^^ Keep it up~!

Again I say that you should probably research hydroponics.

Paul, I really think you should do what you want to do. I keep seeing
people commenting and tweeting you and stuff saying stuff like MORE
MINECRAFT, or I CAME FOR MINECRAFT, UNSUBSCRIBING!. They are not
soarvivors. We are. Us who don’t care what content you put up, we just
wanna hear your voice! That may sound creepy but I am serious. If you are
tired of something, don’t play it. Your channel is YOURS. You may think of
it as ours because I know how much you do for us, but really, if your not
enjoying it, then don’t continue, or take a break. I really hope you read
this, though you were probably bored by the end of the first sentence. We
love you Paul and I am sure along with me, many, many others want YOU to be
happy. I personally came from when you posted up the first ever how to
survive your first night. I am so so proud of you for getting this far (but
I am surprised that you only just reached 1,000,000 subs, because you
deserve SOOOOOOOOOO much more!) and I know you want to put others before
yourself at this point, but please, you come first, your happiness comes
first. Ok rant over now, I love you so much and I will never stop watching
you, although i may give you loads of grief if you give in to people like
this! If you do choose to continue minecraft, great, if not, still great. I
love you for who YOU are. I think i may have done a lot of capital YOUs in
this! Please continue pleasing yourself and your family. Bye for now,
ILYSM! XxXx

7:28 That’s the story of Joseph, right there.

Just something minor I wanted to point out, might want to change your table
to have seats either only vertically or horizontally because they can’t
share the same table spot, one of them will eat off the floor.
For example if one sits in the right seat at the top of the table and one
sits in the top seat on the right side of the table at the same time, one
wont be able to eat.
Noticed this happen in my game when I tried to do the same thing you did
(put seats all around the table)

I’d probably go with hydroponics for the next research unless you want
colored lights for fun, they’re pretty cool. Below might be a bit spoilery
in terms of requirements for completing some of the buildings that the
remaining research unlocks. If you’re interested, read on ;p I’ll try to be
very brief.
Cremation is good for when you have a lot of invader corpses and you don’t
want to deal with digging graves and hauling them (colonists tend to get
bad thoughts around dead bodies) but that hasn’t really happened much so
far. Also drains a lot of power so if you do build one I’d keep it turned
off.
Electric smelting grabs slag chunks and gets some steel from it. Personally
I found it to be very underwhelming and not worth it, I’ve gotten under 10
steel from each slag chunk and they also take a while to smelt. Maybe I
just had bad luck or something /shrugs
Mortars are verrrrrry inaccurate and slow to fire. Might be useful to have
some but they probably wont be necessary for a long while in your game.
Don’t want to spoil anything.
Machining deconstructs mechanoid corpses. This is worth it for when you
meet mechanoids but definitely not necessary to research it now. They’ll
give you quite a it of steel and plasteel.
Ship building basics opens up the end of the game construction options to
build your ship and fly off (unlike dwarf fortress where there is no real
ending other than death, you can “finish” the game). I don’t think you’ll
be able to finish those constructions for a really long time though, they
require a ton of plasteel.

You don’t need to deconstruct a wall first for things like doors and
coolers. Just place them on existing walls and your people will do the
rest on their own. Your freezer is probably your single most important
room in the base, so leaving holes in the wall is a really bad idea, as is
filling it with unnecessary objects like batteries and lights, etc. You
want that space to be saved for one thing: food. When you decide to remove
that door, build a single piece of wall in the space in front of it first
to keep the cold air in, then deconstruct the door and only remove the
temporary wall after you have constructed a wall in the former door space.
Don’t get stingy about your resources either. Trees regrow and there is a
lot of steel hiding in them thar hills, so slap some concrete or wood
floors down under your wind turbines footprint to prevent trees from
growing there. It’s not a waste at all. Power production is important.

Paul, you should research hydroponics, you will have big problems with food
in winter, my colony almost died because i thought i have enough food for
them. And hydroponics can save you a lot of time because as i saw your
plants were dying. Everything you need with the hydroponics its just the
“table” and a sunlamp, plus one heater because you need the plants to stay
in comfortable temperature. This research will help most. Secondary you
could use crematory, i see you are in early-game still but you will have a
LOT of dead corpses around and doing graves for like 40+ people is really
annoying. Yesterday i got attacked by like 10 people at once, then after 10
minutes again so.. But i think its a secondary research, its just if you
want to save space and dont bother with graves. So 1) Hydroponics and 2)
Crematory hope i help bb

Just a tip; Paul; With coolers, you don’t need to deconstruct anything.
Just place the cooler ON TOP of the wall. (I have the game and I have the
EdB Interface mod.)
