Modded Minecraft #5 – Geothermal Generator!
In the fifth episode of ‘Modded Minecraft w/ Docm77 & Monkeyfarm’, we’ll take the next step in creating more efficient energy, with a geothermal generator. We’ll use a pump to deliver the volcano lava to the geothermal generator, then connect that to our other machines. Enjoy! We planned to play Tekkit, but decided with the upcoming ‘Feed the Beast’ modpack… This has the same mods as Tekkit, but has the full support of the mod-makers, Docm77: www.youtube.com Monkeyfarm: www.youtube.com Currently installed Mods: Buildcraft 2 Industrial Craft 2 Red Power 2 Forestry Railcraft Iron Chests Code Chicken Core NEI NEI Plugins Wireless Redstone We want the community to be involved with this series, so please give us your feedback and suggestions. We welcome them all! Enjoy! Info about the upcoming Feed The Beast Pack: www.feed-the-beast.com http Info about Tekkit: www.technicpack.net

Note that unlike Gold Transport Pipes, Gold Waterproof Pipes will not speed up the liquid. Instead, they are capable of carrying the most liquid of any waterproof pipes. Sources: thetekkit.wikia.com/wiki/Gold_Waterproof_Pipe Now shut the fuck up retard… and do your research… LOL

I have to agree that its important to not lose the essence of Minecraft and the exploration/construction of things. Don’t let the crafting consume the experience. Tekkit is so huge that its easy to get lost in all the recipes and machines. I’d love to see Monkeyfarm build a new “base” and other very creative inventions in this mod. Some of the machines in the past like the chicken farm and such would be SO MUCH easier with the machines available here, especially Redpower wiring!

A wooden pipe transports lava. Seems legit!

Yeah you used my ideer with the ultra low piping, now it would be more effencife if you use industrial furnes(better than electric furnes)
Best wishes from germany

Make static boots monkey when you move they charge your batpack really slowly tho but in long run they are worth getting

thing is, they are on minecraft with the mods that make up tekkit (hence the name ‘modded minecraft’) and the mods arent updated to energy condensers. so basically, they cant do which is sad cos i thought it would work to and they could get stacks of diamonds. =(

Four more words:

make the dot on the side of the batbox face the copper cable that is connecting the machines

Please notice all the comments from people explaining that these guys currently do not have the Equivalent Exchange mod. If they did, then yes that would be a VERY good idea to build. They could exchange all that Nikolite for diamonds and be in pretty good shape.

Seriously? I heard that EE wasn’t included in the collection of mods they were using. If you’re right that’s great news!!

Agreed. I think its time for them to build a MFE. Time to go diamond mining to build the energy crystals. Also, no need to turn geothermal generator on and off. They automatically switch off when the power storage is full.

make a engery condesenr
so you came get more diamonds

Make an iron and gate to tell the generator when to turn off. Also make an MFE.
