I may be mistaken, but it looked to me like the Ice Blocks were spreading the same way that Grass Blocks spread except checking for solid blocks instead of grass. Is that true, or just a coincidence?

You should do something with water and lava as I think they are the most interesting things in minecraft, the ways they work are very interesting and help you learn to build stuff much much better like cobble gens an stuff but on a huge scale
