    Suspend your water drop above the floor with signs, still keep it three deep, but have two blocks of space below it, dropping through the water slows you down, then you drop safely the last two blocks and walk out, no need for swimming anywhere.

    You can get MC patcher for your texture packs that works for the snapshots i have one :D

    JC, why don’t you put pressure plates around the bottom of your water drop, which makes it easier to get out of the water current. Since water doesn’t flow through pressure pads

    JC if the block mines slower in the stronghold that means its a silverfish block

    Dont they already have the message appear when you activate far saying it may not work well?

    Yes :) That’s what I said. I was saying they should do the same for high res texture packs and let them work in vanilla.

    JC just use MCpatcher it should be out for the new snapshot now, I hope it works for you!Also how do you respond? like every night? Or in the morning before recording?

    pls try Tydoku low-res texture pack it’s on the same page as the normal tydoku tp. it’s a awsome texture pack
