Use Tymix (or Tydoku, don’t realy know how it’s called) texture pack. It’s from Tyken132 and it’s realy good

Make the cobblestone tunnel a 3 wide tunnel I think that would be less difficult than having problems with the single lane maybe less glitchy as I have had glitches while going through a 1 wide tunnel with minecarts. But above all because I feel claustrophobic being in such a small lane jaja

Ya mine cart track from the village through the nether, and back to your home, those abandoned mines still have loads of rails.
