Does it have to do with a chunk border?

It’s a new feature, he’ll get around to other things when he wants to. That’s like saying “Man, all you do is redstone, when will you get to other things” it’s a mechanic of the game that changes a *TON*.

because if you update a lot of redstone in the same tick the hashset is not big enough anymore and the size of it gets changed and therefore the results are different. to reset it just reload the world

yup.

The bugged tiles change every time you rebuild them or reload the chunk…

Hopefully this is fixed. I prefer items to be through hoppers then running through water.

Fail
January 13th, 2013 at 8:21 AM
could you add a redstone repeater along the top and increase the time to eather 3 or 4, maybe that might do it?

Meanwhile in FTB……

Omg voice!!!
January 13th, 2013 at 8:33 AM
does the 17 blocks rule thing still apply to hoppers
January 13th, 2013 at 8:36 AM
ok, little correction: It is actually a different way to update (the tile entity hashmap in the chunk class), but that doesn’t change anything about the fact that this is still dependant on the size of this hashmap.. you just can’t do this test with increasing its size by updating a lot of redstone.

try to update lots of redstone in the same tick. if the results change it is definitly dependant on the hashset’s size.
