Why didn’t I think of that? Discovered this the day Comparators came out, but couldn’t find a way to stop the power from going out in twos. Replace a redstone at one end with a block and it works like a charm, as long as you make sure the last comparator is pointing into the block and not away.

    Oh you’re doing optimization? :D

You can halve the discharge if you make one of the two sides of the array have 1 block and 1 wire, and the other one 2 wires. The part where there is 2 wires is where the strength does down by one, all the rest is just delay. It is also possible to eliminate the wire on the other side entirely, would be more bulky, but more redstone efficient.

    wow that was fast o.O

Can you point the comparator into a block to increase the time by a factor of 2 as it will then only decrease once in a loop?

You should put a pulse lengthener on there to for comparison! I am kinda curious if these comparator arrays could take the place of pulse lengtheners and be more space effecient too!
