Suggestions for fighting the Enderdragon: Place an enderchest so you can take extra materials with you to the End, extra ammunition for example, or potions, building blocks, etc. Also, in the case that you cannot get back to the overworld for some reason, you can put you items in the enderchest before jumping into the void and you won’t lose them or have to recover them.
