AOTD: Because endermen come from the end, where there is nothing but end stone. So that makes the like children, who see something for the first time.. They pick it up and just like a kid, they drop it when they become bored.

AOTD: Endermen steal blocks like grass and huge mushroom blocks for squids to eat as there is no fish in minecraft. Endermen are nicer than Steve

they are stealing things to iron golems but the iron golems doesnt want blocks so they just place the block down and try finding something new. iron golems want roses
