I will never forgive Tyken if he joins the Stormcloaks. The Stormcloaks are crazy, recist old men who would use a Khajiit and then toss him out of skyrim. The Stormcloaks are terrorists and battle-hungry warlords. Not to mention that if they win, the Aldmeri dominion will crush them under their boot before they can even set up their government.
