the old lighting vs new lighting
old lighting : going to black light will not update them
new lighting : going to black light will update them

This is awesome and works!
I got from 20 to 30 fps :)

You really do fail at math.
100% is the original number.
0% is nothingness.
50% is half the original number.
300% is triple the original number
Lern 2 maf.

w00t!! I went to 500+ FPS!

Well it really depends where you put it.
If they made the fps=fps*3 it would go up infinitly and eventually reach insanely high numbers. Making infinity in programming.
But if they made fpsString=fps*3 then it would show the string (F3) as triple the actual framerate.
Programming ftw!

Actually I’m pretty sure if you assign more ram to minecraft AND Java itself found in some random spot in your computer it works better.
That’s what I’ve done, and my computer seems to run TNT explosions and more a lot better. :)

You don’t know how much these videos mean to me even these short updates where there is a change in FPS you maki it a gret video by comparing it in different situations. Much love -WhatEvs

Not everyone can afford that! asshole.

Seriously why don’t you just go get a 400$ computer that could easily handle minecraft? Lol..

It’s a valid statement in programming…

I’m really looking foward to that

How does this work?
March 22nd, 2013 at 9:23 AM
My current fps rate is 15 fps
March 22nd, 2013 at 9:24 AM
For me it’s about 50% – 75%. With Optifine I often get more than 200 fps. I have a laptop with Nvidia Geforce GT 630m and i5-2450m. :D

Woo! I can finally get my 5 fps! That’s exactly much I’m getting.
March 22nd, 2013 at 9:34 AM
Not really good at coding and stuff but can’t they just do fps*5 or even 10 if thats the case?
March 22nd, 2013 at 9:40 AM
Oh well.
They said they would make a mod API. It ended up being much harder then expected and couldn’t fit it much on their time schedule.
THEIR EVIL MAN! THEIR GOING SO BAD THEY’RE GARBAGE URHHHMAHHHGURRRDDD.
Yeah they really aren’t that bad. It’s just it’s hard running a game with such a small company.

yeah for me it was from 1.5 to 1.5.1: 80fps before and 350 after. However, I solved this before the update. There was a mod which replaces the lighting engine with the one prior to 13w05a. That fixed everything, so the lighting engine was in fact the reason for the lag :/ Got the mod from LetsDoRedstone btw, just to give credits :P
