I don’t know what ‘YouTube’ etiquette you are talking about. Many of the big YouTubers ask for likes too. And shouldn’t he deserve to be allowed to ask for likes? He did after all create the video and put effort into it. There is nothing wrong with asking for these things. It just shows that your fans support your work.

It took alot longer than 10 minutes to put together and I went over everything the mod does, it just so happened that the mod was quite small.. I also say the same thing promoting my channel at the end of all my videos and because the mod was so small it just so happened to be a quarter of it…

This looks like it took less than ten minutes to put together. You spent more than a quarter of the video promoting your channel and had almost no information about how the mod works.

I didn’t say it was bad, I’m just not a fan of setting like goals for videos and asking for likes/subs. It breaks YouTube etiquette that many larger video makers follow. This video was simply him telling us how to craft a flashlight, spazzing out, and asking for likes and subs on his channel. I would have liked more information than I could have discovered myself within a few seconds of playing with the mod.

Jealous of what? Spazzing out and begging for subs and likes? Even if the mod is small, he could have gone into the technicals. The mod works because it creates a light source with the same power as a torch in the area that your cursor is pointed.
