Does this work in 1.4.7?

wheat needs like 7 to grow, but that’s beside the point. If bonemeal attempts to be used but can’t, then it’s not dispensed. This even applies if it tries “at the same time”.

He has 1 but they are patched as of 13w01a

do you mean f11? and i thought i was the only one that knew about that! ;D lol (the trick where you toggle fullscreen mode and hold down buttons and it thinks your still holding them?)

You told him lol ;)

so if you pump 3 bone meal in at the same time are you technically wasting 1 on some occasions? or does it not use 3 if it didnt take 3. surely not if they all hit the crop at the same time?

xisuma did you know the F10 trick isn’t the only way to keep using?if you disconnect your mouse while holding down a button it works the same way

Unhosts farm is better

xisuma I came up with an idea for a semi automatic tree farm. you place saplings while a dispenser dispenses bone meal into the sapling. when the tree grows, a row of pistons powered by a bud switch(comporater maybe) that detects the growth of the tree will push it then you place another sapling and this process repeats. the pistons will push the tree into one whole cube or stack of logs that you can then easily cut down. I figured you could get an idea of what im saying and perfect this. thanks

-if a wheat needs 2 bonemeal to fully grow, will the 3rd be wasted or not be -used since all 3 are trying to grow it at the same time?
-possible to put a hopper somewhere to avoid getting full inventory on yourself if using the AFK F10 trick?
-great tutorial, love the effectiveness of using both extended/retracted to plant stuff, the burning clock to make it as fast as possible, the great way you make your tutorials with layers and the tininess of the design :)

It might be nice to have a design that activates when you stand on a pressure plate. That would make it even more automated, and you’d be able to get started faster without wasting so much bonemeal.
