silverfish sometimes break from stone in extreme hills biomes since 1.3 :)

Well isnt it obvious…… Give more information or a reason why…
As of an update long time ago (forgot which one)
Silverfish will now hide in random stone blocks. The blocks they hide are called “Monster Eggs”. They are already implemented inside loaded chunks which makes it difficult to find them. The best way to find one is to normally mine stone blocks and the stone block that takes longer than a usual stone block is a silverfish. You can also break these eggs with your hand.

i see yxou have problems vith silferfish.Me too cose i play in this map too.in area where are you bilding your tunell to hole around the tunel is much of those silverfish :(.
i will post you a video about them in my world it was me vs 100 haha:)…..

You should build a CN tower/ Eiffel Tower type of building that reaches up to the build limet on top of the big hole so there could be a glass floor that you look through all the way down to bedrock.

You can build xisumas xp farm its really good, it fits the whole you just made, he did excactly the same whole, but without tnt soooo yeah you could do his design
