That’s really quite a neat compact system looking forward to a tutorial. Adding a simple bypass system so you could skip stations on a larger server rail network would be a nice addition.

Nice man, but it could be cool, if you arrived somewhere else than in the cactus, and then when get out of the minecart, the minecart would be sent up to the catus and gets destroyed. :D
-Btw, very nice features :P

I couldn’t really tell how this one works, but an arrival/departure station for two way tracks that doesn’t rely on timing for track selection. I have tried to make a couple of them, never really that good.

they used to have tons. but then, the glitch powering them all got removed and they all broke

I know JLdid it, but IKR if he got it elsewhere.

you mean that video where the minecart breaks and then gets send up by a elevator and gets send again?

Or we can ask him to do some noise filtering with Audacity. It’s more cost effective, and almost as good, but, it does take a couple minutes to actually do.

I do a lot of stations on the server I play on, thanks for the cactus idea! One of the things I typically do is have an auto empty cart detector (empty carts move slower) As well as at least 2 arrival spots (in SMP, can be removed in SP, of course)
There are some good ways to make stations to stop, get out, I use a powered rail (off) then get out, and hit a pressure plate or trip wire on exit, and it takes it back to the storage. So you can safely afk travel. :)

That’s not mine. I saw it somewhere. Anyone know who’s it is?

How about a ticketing system?

I sorta had a working prototype that would send a user determined amount of storage carts, up to 3, to follow the player, but it wasn’t 100% stable. I like the idea of having a “train” of carts.
