No mods needed. Dawnguard DLC adds mounted combat.

It’s kinda a good thing that Paul skipped the drinking quest because it would’ve taken him to a city on the other side of Ivarstead.

y u play in a lower difficulty try expert if u dont like it u can keep it on what ever difficulty u had it on

You’re not the only one. I had Deadric items legitimately before I left Whiterun. It’s good to take it slow sometimes.
