    Also u can press the scroll wheel and it will swap t it in creative

    You can also hover over an empty slot, such as in a crafting table, and swap the items in your inventory in there. I find that feature is fabulous for mass crafting of any kind, mainly snow blocks.

    In creative if you middle click on a block in the over world while your hand is empty it will give you that block in your hot bar.
