slimes spawn up to layer 40 now apparently as of 1.0. Which means if you want to use your five chunks as well as possible having an enchantment room on top of your exp farm might not be the best idea. I just learnt that and didn’t know if you were aware of this change or not.

I really like the design of your XP room, but yeah, upper room needs some tweaks. And maybe you should take a look at the Morning Wood from DocM77 for inspiration for your stump. And I think you should do it without MCedit :) I would love to see music stuff in your LP, these are pretty rare in survival mode, this would be nice to see you struggling with noteboxes, repeaters and redstone contraptions :P

if ur worried about taking fall dmg in the minecart u can do like u do normally with 1 water block to fall thru and it will work just aswell even if ur sitting in a minecart :)
