How about making a 3 by 3 obsidian room put some cats into the room so the creepers will go into the obsidian room and stay there and you can put a button over the obsidian to ligh the tnt and blow the creepers up? would be funny to watch i think

Find out what part of the room the cat pushes the creepers to then have a piston activated floor that makes them fall into a lava trap

make cats sit at the opposite side off the drowning chamber so creepers get in there.
ofcourse you will always have some other mobs than drown but the will be killed by the iron golem before they have the chance to go in there

creeper filter :D – have a piston thing which shows water and have another piston opening a hole in the ground (1 block hole). the water pushes the creepers down the hole and then they get killed. the iron golem can’t fit down the hole so he doesn’t die. (This is probably the best suggestion! :D) – I hope you understand this as this is a bit long :/
