you could probably use this for minecart track switching pretty easily, you could cycle through 3 maybe 4 different destinations with just one button.

did you try to rotate it to see what happens in north-south west-east orientation (well, is 4 orientations)? I could imagine this only working for 2 certain orientations. e.g. n-s and s-n the ordner of pushing changes. Another cuase could me this “redstone lists” you metioned once. (the thing with the wireless control)

I actually did something similar to this a few months ago. I forget exactly how I did it though (lol).
