If you’ve got TNT on one side of an obsidian block, putting the lever anywhere on the obsidian and flipping it lets the charge pass through the block. *BOOM* Lot of work for nothing.

Unless the rules have been updated to ensure the lever must be on the TNT to explode it, but I don’t remember hearing that anywhere.

Then just work to put at least a piece of obsidian on top and around that cobble to seal it it. Since you won’t have time to get diamond, it will take forever for folks to dig it out. In other words Boz, you probably need to also disallow obsidian for the game or it will just get ridiculous. :)
