well, no not really. water stops mobs from spawning, therefor just leaving water on all the time doesnt work. i suggest looking at a skyblock series. theres always a mobspawner there that’ll work for you. they’re very simple, so it shouldnt be a problem.

that is how dispensors work currently. On the snapshot and in the next patch it will work like in the video
