@monkeyfarm Thanks for the quick response monkey farm, and your fort, from what I’ve seen in some of your videos, is absolutely amazing! It’s so neat looking! Yes. I’m playing on a SMP server, not sure what version it is, but I’m guessing it’s not 1.2, as I guess that’s not out yet. I’ll just leave the structure half built, hopefully it does get fixed with the next patch!

I don’t get it, I can’t get either trapdoors or ladders to work. What’s the deal? If I open the trap doors the cart just falls through. :(

I just spent over an hour setting up the area for it, and it’s pointless.

Are these elevators still possible?

@delkin525 Ladders wont work in 1.1, but will work once 1.2 comes our. Also, are you on a server? I’ve heard that open trapdoors won’t work in 1.1 smp.. For a while everything works ok but then carts glitch through the open trapdoors.
From minecraft wiki: In the release version, minecarts sitting on any block except for a rail will periodically fall through that block in SMP. So hopefully they’ll fix whatever glitch causes this.
