fish,birds..more tamable pets…more colors of wool and possibly wood…craft four chests into a big closet maybe? more types of lamps…stone fence, nether brick fence gates, iron trap doors, diamond doors, tamable golems who will follow you around, stackable half slabs (stack wood with stone) and possibly a sort of vehicle to fly with(not necesarily freely but with set destinations as a kind of air tracks)

I think they should add Adventure mode(can’t break blocks) and Sky dimension.
Notch originally planned the Sky dimension for Beta 1.9 but replaced it with The End.
