That’s incredibly simple! in my barn i’m building i unfortunately didn’t
have enough room for redstone, so i’m happy that there’s a solution as
simple as this to hold horses. thanks man!

You can also use railroad tracks, although slightly more expensive I find
them incredibly more flexible without and design seeing as you can see
blocks through them. Works since mobs are afraid of tracks, don’t even need
the top block :)
