Am I mistaken or is that 2nd redstone dust at 2:28 right at the top unnecessary? The first dust is a dot so it powers the block and therefore the piston on the other side

Hey X , did you know that you can left click and right click at the same time to place a block next to it but delete that block? Try it your self if you don’t know what I’m saying.

It’s not just a block swapper! It just creates a compact solution for using a block swaper as an indicator to the state of the T flip-flop. So you just put the T flip-flop output to any redstone contraption, but instead of using lamps you have the block swapper.
I’m pretty sure you can do block swappers with just redstone dust, torches and repeaters on 1.6.* so you can hide your crafting table or whatever, but that’s not the point in this video!
