Sorry to say but this season SUCKED compared to S2. Last season people did
way more stuff, tried more varieties of mods as well as built more things,
which to me, is what made it fun to watch. This season, nobody really built
anything good (except for the end) because they spent majority of time
hiding. Often I feel like I’m watching a singleplayer series just because
there’s not a lot of public builds or other public player interactions
(because most of people is afraid to come out and get killed). PVP like
“savages” mentioned in the first episode never really happened, there were
kills once in a while, but it was never really felt like a “war”. And now,
the finale, all we have is people fighting around the ONE SINGLE complete
build that is not hidden (although I admit, it was epic at times). As a
result, I don’t think this “savage” or “war” themed play style applies well
with the Mindcrack modded server, because the progress was really slow and
it never really delivered that epic war sensation due to crafting being too
complicated and expensive, which results in people hiding.
