jc if you´re going to fight the enderdragon with the ender chest with you dont place it on the obsidian platform because if you die the ender chest wiil dissapear i know there is another one in the overworld (if you make two and place one in the overworld and another one in the end ) but it would be a waste of materials if one of them dissapeared. hope this helps :)
