A few tips that might come in handy for you:
The nuclear reactor does not contain constant maintenance as long as you properly arrange your coolant cells.
Tools made out of gems (ruby, emerald, sapphire) are very good, they are about the same as iron but a bit faster.
Do not waste sticky resin by smelting it, make an extractor and get 3 rubber per.

issue with using this door is you can’t use buttons or pressure plates as they “set” it open. Switches work but reverse.. wondering if you maybe can do a reverse torch to make a button or PP close..
