You could make it act like a lever rather easily if you just compared the
signal of the sensor to another sensor, so if they’re the same it’s on and
if they’re different it’s off, couldn’t you? Then you can hook it up to a
dual-edge if you want the button functionality. I’ll have to try that.

To save on materials you can use a block with an item frame, and an item
inside of it, instead of a hopper. Rotate it 6 times to get a signal
strength of 7 like the set up.

Another option would be to get a jukebox with the Melohi disk.

I got it down to 16*3*2 by turning the input circuit sideways. I’ll try a
bit more tomorrow, although I don’t expect that I come up with anything.
