The arena seems a little too big to me. A 2000 x 2000 block arena gives each player a 707 x 707 block area to themselves. The render distance on Far is 256 blocks. With such a large area the chances are good that they may never see each other and die due to mobs or the environment.

Reddit has a thread with a map plotting their positions and movements from episode one to two. Etho and BdoubleO are the closest players, but I think all the action is going to happen nether-side with all the portal confusion. Kurt seems to be travelling in Beef’s direction, but he’s still way away for the time being. Doc is pinned in a corner and closest to Pause.
